Update 6th December 2007
The next project from Max Decals is a new book featuring the colours and markings of the Irish Air Corps from 1922 to the present day. It's planned that the book will be published in 2008. If any reader has previously unpublished photographs of Irish Air Corps aircraft from 1922 to the the late 1960's I'd like to hear from you. Please contact me at joe@maxdecals.com. New decal sheets featuring Irish Air Corps subjects will be released in 2008 to coincide with the book. Top of the list will be markings for the Dauphin and Marchetti in 1/48 scale.

Work is continuing on the Antarctic Helicopter decal sheet for release in 2008.

Update 28th March 2007
Following the release of some new kits and customer demand for the release of underwing stripes a new sheet, Max4814 Irish Air Corps selection has been produced. This sheet includes 1/48 scale markings for Avro anson's and DH.9's for the Classic airframes and roden kits respectively. The sheet also includes markings for the new EC-135 helicopter in 1/32 and 1/72 scale for the Revell kits. The prominet wire cutters on the EC-135 can be obtained from the Revell EC-145 kit in 1/32 scale or the Heller EC-145 kit in 1/72 scale. Both kits come with a number of marking options so you don't have to sacrafice an entire kit just to get the wirecutters!

Duarte accesories from Brazil will soon be available from hannants. The range includes an extended nose and new cabin doors for the Revell/Matchbox Dauphin.

The Irish Air Corps has chosen the EC-135 and AB139 as it's new light helicopters. There are kits available for the EC-135 in 1/72 and 1/32 from Revell but nothing yet for the AB139. Max decals will be releasing a second Irish Air Corps update sheet early in 2005 featuring the new EC-135 just as sonn as colour information comes to hand.
